Sadru is a general practitioner by background. He has been a Medical Adviser to a Health Authority and then a London Strategic Health Authority. He has also worked as a PCT Medical Director. He has been an adviser for the National Clinical Assessment Service and also an Associate Member of the General Medical Council. He continues in clinical practise.

He has extensive experience of service review, investigation, and clinical assessment in all healthcare settings. He has experience across the breadth of the healthcare agenda, from service development to delivery at both a strategic and an operational level.

Sadru has undertaken several independent reviews into child deaths and has considerable experience of Safeguarding issues. He has provided expert reports for the Metropolitan Police and the General Medical Council.
